Retail Rollouts
UK Install runs multi-site retail rollouts for brands, retailers and agencies. We install vinyl graphics, POS and branded displays across store estates throughout the UK and in other European countries, with one dedicated project manager, synchronised out-of-hours installs and photographic sign-off from every site. We are based in London.
What is a retail rollout?
A retail rollout is the installation of the same graphics, displays or branding across many stores, usually to a fixed launch date. It might be a new seasonal campaign, a brand refresh, a store roll-out of new fixtures, or a refit programme phased over several months. The challenge is rarely the installation itself. It is making sure every store gets the right materials, the right team and the same finish, without disrupting trading.
As a UK retail store rollout partner, we take that coordination off your hands. You deal with one person, and we manage surveys, scheduling, installation teams, reporting and any follow-up visits.
What does our rollout service cover?
- A dedicated project manager: a single point of contact across every site.
- Site surveys: checking measurements, surfaces and access before artwork is finalised.
- Scheduling: agreeing install windows with each store, including overnight and weekend slots.
- Installation: vinyl graphics, window film, POS displays, FSDUs, light boxes, signage and wraps.
- Removal of old materials: taking down the previous campaign as part of the same visit.
- Reporting: photographic sign-off from every site and full reporting across the programme.
- Aftercare: repairs, maintenance and annual contracts once the rollout is live.
One example is a multi-site vinyl wrap rollout on Osprey EV charging stations across the UK, where every site needed the same branding applied to the same standard.
How does a retail rollout programme work?
- Consultation and quote: we review the store list, the materials, the launch date and any store restrictions, then provide a no-obligation quote.
- Site surveys: we survey stores where layouts vary or information is missing, so artwork and quantities are right before production. Our site survey guide explains what we check.
- Installation: teams install to an agreed schedule, usually out of hours. Where a campaign has to go live everywhere at once, we synchronise installs across sites.
- Sign-off and aftercare: each store is photographed on completion and reported back. Any snags are logged and closed out, and we stay on hand for maintenance and emergency call-outs.
How do you phase a rollout across 100+ stores?
Large estates are usually easier to manage in waves. A common approach is to start with a small pilot group of stores to test the artwork, fixings and install time, then group the remaining stores by region and trading pattern. Each wave is scheduled, installed and signed off before the next, and lessons from the pilot are fed into the rest of the programme. Our multi-site retail rollout guide covers planning in more depth, and our article on store refit graphics programmes looks at longer phased projects.
| Approach | Best for | Trade-offs |
|---|---|---|
| Synchronised launch | Campaigns that must go live everywhere on the same day | Needs more teams working at once and tight logistics |
| Phased by region | Refits, brand refreshes and large estates | Stores show old and new branding for a period |
| Pilot then rollout | New fixtures or untested artwork | Adds time at the start but reduces risk later |
Do you handle European retail rollouts?
Yes. We run multi-country rollouts across Europe from London. For international work we manage travel, materials, customs paperwork and localised artwork, so each country receives the right version of the campaign. Moving graphics and equipment across borders brings extra planning, such as customs documentation and local site rules, which we build into the schedule from the start. Read more in our European retail rollout guide and installing graphics across Europe.
Where do we work?
Our base is London and our core region is London, Kent and Essex. For national retail installation services we cover the whole of the UK, and for European programmes we install in multiple countries. Rollouts can include high street stores, shopping centre units, concessions, pop-up shops and sites such as EV charging stations.

Frequently asked questions
How many stores can you install in one rollout?
We plan each programme around the size of the estate and the launch date. Larger estates are usually phased in regional waves or scheduled with several teams working in parallel.
Can every store go live on the same day?
Yes, where the campaign needs it. We synchronise out-of-hours installs so stores open with the new materials in place at the same time.
Who will we deal with during the rollout?
You have one dedicated project manager as your single point of contact across every site, from planning through to final sign-off.
How do we know each store has been completed properly?
Every site is photographed on completion, and we provide full reporting across the programme so you can check progress and quality store by store.
Can you manage rollouts outside the UK?
Yes. We deliver multi-country rollouts across Europe and manage travel, materials, customs paperwork and localised artwork for each market.
